Son of Samuel and Sarah Ward Thomas who migrated to Windsor from Telfair County, Georgia about 1846. Fabian was a twin to my great, great grandfather Ballard Thomas (see Millwood Cemetery, Reddick, Florida) and had 6 other brothers and one sister. Married to Virginia Victoria Wilkes in 1881 they had 7 children. Samuel C. M. Thomas their oldest son, served as Marion County Sheriff as well as Ocala Chief of Police. Fabian was a farmer during his lifetime.
