HESSTON -- Thelma B. Loucks, 86, homemaker, died Sunday (April 16, 2000) at Schowalter Villa in Hesston.
She was born Oct. 10, 1913, in Hesston to Rudolph and Katherine (King) Blosser. She married Charles Loucks Aug. 27, 1936, in rural Hesston. He survives of Hesston.
She was a lifetime Hesston and Canton area resident. She was a member of Spring Valley Mennonite Church in rural Canton.
Other survivors include: two sons, Lonnie Loucks of Boulder, Colo., and Rodney Loucks of Canton; two daughters, Yvonne Chambers of Colorado Springs, Colo., and Julie Bacon of Ulysses; two brothers, Melvin Blosser of Houston, and Virgil Blosser of Hesston; one sister, Blanche Miller of Kalona, Iowa; and nine grandchildren.
Funeral services will be 4 p.m. Friday at Spring Valley Mennonite Church with the Rev. Frank Willems officiating. Burial will be in the Spring Valley Cemetery.
Friends may call from 3 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Miller Funeral Home in Goessel.
Memorials have been established with Spring Valley Mennonite Church in care of the funeral home.
