NEWPORT — Frances Irene Long Pinkston, 84, of Newport died Thursday, March 20, 2008 at Newport.

Born at Saffell, she was the daughter of James Willie and Louinna Hibarger Long.

She is survived by two sons, Perry Pinkston of Tuckerman and James Everett Pinkston of Jonesboro; three grandchildren, Cassandra Nix, Gregory Pinkston and April Ortega; and several great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday in Ballews Chapel Free Will Baptist Church with Hoover Lewis officiating. Interment will be in Ballews Chapel Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 6-8 tonight in Jackson's Newport Funeral Home.
