| Birth: | Nov. 10, 1935 Wayne County West Virginia, USA | | Death: | Mar. 19, 2008 Huntington Cabell County West Virginia, USA |  Fern williamson , 72, of Proctorville, Ohio, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, March 19, 2008, in St. Mary's Medical Center. He has been reunited with his loving wife Nancy of 44 years. He was born November 10, 1935, in Wayne County, West Virginia, son of the late Howard Taft and Vada Williamson. In addition to his parents and wife, he is preceded in death by sisters Patricia Spence and Alta Mae Porter; and daughter-in-law Melody Lake. Fern is survived by his children, Roger Breen and wife Denise, Scott Williamson, Marisa "Missy" Williamson Sowards and husband Mark, Susan Williamsom Roghe and husband Oliver, all of Proctorville, and Connie Reynolds and husband Mark of Chesapeake, Ohio; 12 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; two sisters, Loretta (Curtis) Williamson and Avonelle Dilley, both of Wayne, W.Va.; two brothers, Perchie (Doris) Williamson and Drew (Sandy) Williamson, both of Proctorville; two brothers-in-law, Gus Porter and Chester Spence; his special friend Dorothy Napier for all of her love and care. He was the owner of Tri-State Truck and Equipment and retired in 2006. He was the best dad in the world and the best grandfather anyone could have. His family came first in his life. The family wishes to thank Daisy Brewster for her love and support and the rest of the McGaha family for always loving him. Funeral service will be conducted 11 a.m. Saturday, March 22, 2008, at Hall Funeral Home by Pastor Don Irby. Burial will follow in Miller Memorial Gardens, Miller, Ohio. Visitation will be held from 6 to 9 p.m. Friday, March 21, 2008, at Hall Funeral Home, Proctorville, Ohio.
