She lived in Hillsboro and graduated from Hillsboro High School in 1928. She had resided in Veedersburg since 1928. She was a bookkeeper for many years at Veedersburg Brick Paver Company and then Covington Manufacturing Co. for several years. She made her home with her twin sister, Ellen Morehouse, until her death in 1991. She was a member of the First Christian Church.
Surviving are: a sister, Mary E. Allen, Covington; a nephew, Michael Morehouse, whom she raised, Danville, Calif.; and several other nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her twin sister, Ellen Morehouse; her parents; three half sisters and five half brothers.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. today (Tuesday) at Parham-Shelby Funeral Home, Veedersburg, with Paul Kent officiating. Burial was in Rockfield Cemetery, Veedersburg." – Fountain County Neighbor, February 4, 1997
