Mrs. Sheleman was predeceased be her husband Joseph Sheleman who passed away on August 26, 2004. She was also pre-deceased by her parents and her son-in-law Stuart L. Saikkonen who passed away on June 11, 1995. Mrs. Sheleman is survived by her daughters and sons-in-law: Joanne Laux of Horseheads,Joycelyn & William Paul of Pine City, Joy & Raymond Diesel of Raleigh,NC, and Jill & Marty Chalk of Horseheads. son: James W. Sheleman of Alfred,NY; grandchildren: Kimberly DeRenzo,Erin Vrzal, Eric Deisel, Ashley Gagnon, Corey Diesel, Ashley Gagnon; step grandchildren : Danielle, Melissa, and Jenifer Chalk: sister: Ruth Pitts of Waxahacie,TX; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law: Helen & Joseph Peworchik of Elmira, Rose & Wilbur Kocher of Benton,PA.,and Betty & George Beaver of Mildred,PA.;several nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of friends including Dick Spencer. Relatives and friends are invited to call at Lynch Funeral Home 318 West Broad Street on Sunday January 2, 2005 from 2-5 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday January 3, 2005 at 10 A.M. at St. Mary Our Mother Church. Interment Will be in Maple Grove Cemetery in Horseheads, NY.
