Ples Millsaps, 78, a resident of Cleveland, passed away Friday afternoon, Sept. 15, 2006, in a Chattanooga hospital.
He was the son of the late Bertha Bunch Millsaps and Charlie Millsaps. His brothers, Dock Millsaps and Fred Millsaps, also preceded him in death.
He worked in construction most of his life and retired from Brown Brother's Construction in Chattanooga.
He was the oldest member of Samples Memorial Baptist Church, and he has served as deacon since 1954.
He enjoyed fishing and gardening.
