|Birth: ||May 7, 1903|
|Death: ||Dec. 3, 1906|
Most genealogical research will find some inconsistencies. Despite these, it is clear that Clyde W. Hart from this grave site is the same as:
Clyde Marshall Hart born May 7, 1903, who died of diphtheria on Dec 3, 1906 in Palmetto, NV.
One month later his brother Kenneth Victor Hart born Jan 3, 1905 also died of diphtheria in Palmetto, NV on Jan 12, 1907. (The grave of Kenneth is unknown or is he also at this site?) It is likely both boys were buried together in 1907. Could the marker have mixed information for both boys by mistake?
What we know for sure is that Clyde and Kenneth both died at the Palmetto site, a silver and gold strike town that lasted a few years and attracted people who had gold fever such as their parents. Victor and Lydia arrived in Palmetto shortly after Kenneth was born after leaving Santa Rosa, CA.
