Addison Clay Bishop, 91, of Lawrenceburg passed away on September 10, 1996 at Columbia Crockett Hospital. He was a native of Franklin County, Alabama and the son of the late Andrew and Effie Bernice (Little) Bishop. He was a retired farmer. He was preceded in death by his son, Ted Bishop; and two grandchildren. He is survived by his wife, Opal Irene (Shelton) Bishop; his sons, Fred Bishop of Lawrenceburg, and Bobby Bishop and Jerry Bishop, both of Pulaski; his daughters, Frances Routon of Okeechobee, Florida and Carol Nell Watson of Gallatin; his brother, Earl Bishop of Murfreesboro; fourteen grandchildren; and ten great-grandchildren. Funeral services were conducted Friday at Pettus-Turnbo Funeral Home with Ted Hunter officiating. Burial followed in Wesley Chapel Cemetery.
