A 2005 graduate of Pascack Valley High School, he was the captain of the varsity tennis team and was named to the All-County list. He completed his first year at the University of Miami in Florida.
Lee was struck and killed by lightning while leaving a recreational field. His friend, Steven Fagan, was also struck and killed.
