Harvey Harris Dies
He Formerly Lived in
Harvey Harris, former resident of the Wheeling community, died at the home of his son, Spencer Harris, near Trenton, Monday evening at 6:30 o'clock, following a long illness.
Funeral services, under the direction of the Norman Funeral Home, will be held Wednesday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock from the Wheeling Baptist Church. The Rev. Carl Lindholm will conduct the services. Interment will be made in the family lot in the Wheeling cemetery.
Mr. Harris married Miss Mary Maude Littrell, Oct. 11, 1899.
Mr. And Mrs. Harris lived on a farm southeast of Wheeling and in Wheeling. Since Mrs. Harris' death on Jan. 11, 1938, Mr. Harris had made his home with his son, Spencer Harris, and family.
Survivors are two daughters, Mrs. Eileen Kimmus and Mrs. Opal DeWitt of Wheeling and two sons, Spencer Harris, Trenton, and Bland Harris of Wheeling; three sisters, Mrs. Bertha Sensenich, Mrs. Ethyl Tompkins and Mrs. Gertie Beaird, Chillicothe; 11 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
