Rosa Barile, 75, died Tuesday, June 27, 2006 at her home in Fort Wayne.

Born in Macchiagodena, (Isernia) Italy, she retired in 1993 from St. Joseph Hospital as a cook and supervisor for 20 years. She was a member of St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church and Italian America Club. She enjoyed cooking, traveling, crocheting, flower gardening and most of all her family and grandchildren.

Survivors include husband, Gennaro Barile of Fort Wayne; daughters, Angela (Jerry) Coleman, and Anna Barile both of Fort Wayne; son, Domenico Barile; grandchildren, Harry and Matthew Coleman; sisters, Teresa Barile, Felicia (Vince) Di Ianni, Stella (Giulio) Barile, and Giovanna (Joe) Barile all of Fort Wayne; brother, Nick (Yvonne) Ciocca of Fort Wayne. Preceded in death by parents, Rocco and Anna Ciocca.

Mass of Christian Burial 10:30 a.m. Friday at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church, 4916 Trier Rd. with calling one hour prior. Calling is also from 2 to 4 and 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday at D.O. McComb and Sons Maplewood Park Funeral Home, 4017 Maplecrest Rd. with Vigil at 7:30 p.m. Entombment in Catholic Cemetery.
