Mrs. Ressie Daggett Fairbanks, died Feb. 14 at a Manchester, Conn. hospital.

She Was the widow of Sumner Fairbanks.

She was born at Smyrna Mills and resided for many years in Bangor and in Houlton.

Mrs. Fairbanks was a life member of the Court Street Baptist Church in Houlton and served as choir director and organist there for many years.

Survivors include two daughters, Isabelle Hobby of East Woodstock, Conn., and Mary Haskell of Manchester, Conn; six grandchildren, John Haskell of Dover, N.H., David Haskell of Gettysburg, Pa., Peter Haskell of Vernon, Conn., Richard Haskell of Manchester, Conn., Marilyn Hobby of Newburyport, Mass. and Richard Hobby of Cambridge, Mass. Memorial services were conducted in West Hartford, Conn. Spring Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery with the Dunn Funeral Home making arrangements.Contributions may be made in her memory to the Court Street Baptist Church Memorial Fund, Houlton 04730. Local arrangements by Dunn Funeral Home.
