Freda Laverne Bruton 68 passed away March 1, 2008, at the Sarcoxie Nursing Center, Sarcoxie, Mo.
She was born Aug.5, 1939, in Miami, Okla., the daughter of Ernest Earl Dixon and Grace Iland (Broyles) Dixon. Her parents preceded her in death. A daughter, Kimberly Diane Bruton also preceded her in death.
She was a 1957 graduate of Central High School, Springfield, MO. and married Loyd Dale Bruton on March 24, 1957 in Springfield, Mo. He survives.
Two sons, Randall Dale Bruton and wife, Cristy, Philip Mathew Bruton and wife, Tina both of Carthage, Mo. A sister, Wanda Foster, Neosho, Mo., two brothers, Ernie Dixon, Joplin, Mo., Monty Dixon, Springfield, Mo., four grandchildren, Erin Bruton, Jessica Bruton, Eli Bruton, and Josh Bruton all of Carthage, Mo., also survive her.
Mrs. Bruton was a homemaker and a member of the Fairview Christian Church, Carthage, Mo.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday March 5, 2008, at 11 a.m. at the Fairview Christian Church, Carthage, Mo. John Mouton will officiate. A private family interment will be in the Park Cemetery, Carthage, Mo.
