Dorothy May (Williams) Fleming Keneipp, 93, of Equality, passed away Thursday, Feb. 21, 2008, at the home of her daughter, Mignon (Jack) Blackburn.
She was born Oct. 30, 1914, in Milburn, Ky., to the late B.L. and Mary Ruth (Hastin) Williams. On June 23, 1932, she married Ray Fleming and they enjoyed 43 years together. After his death on July 12, 1976, she married Ed Keneipp on July 9, 1983, and he preceded her in death on July 29, 1991. Dorothy was a homemaker, loving wife and mother. She was a member of the Dorrisville Baptist Church in Harrisburg.
Survivors include her daughters, Yuvone (Charles L.) Leider of Stillwater, Okla. and Mignon (Jack) Blackburn of Equality; grandchildren, Christopher (Jennifer) Hodges of Paducah, Ky., Chuck (Johnna) Leider of Sugar Land, Texas, Steve (Grace) Leider of Pasadena, Calif., Lenetta (Edward) Choate of Moorhead, Minn., Jeffrey (Linda) Blackburn of Hardin, Ky. and Mindy (David) Vaupel of Swansea; great-grandchildren, Amanda, Caitlin, Nathan and Emily Hodges of Paducah, Ky., Dillon Vaupel of Swansea, Lauren and Logan Leider of Sugar Land, Texas and Noah Leider of Pasadena, Calif.; she has several loving nieces and nephews; and stepdaughters, Isabel Braden and Ina Allen.
Dorothy was preceded in death by her parents; both husbands; and a daughter, Patsy Hodges; one sister, Edith Brent; and a brother, Homer Williams.
Service will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 26, 2008, at Reed Funeral Chapel in Harrisburg with the Rev. Max Rogers officiating. Visitation will be from 9 to 11 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 26, 2008, at Reed Funeral Chapel. Burial will follow in Woodlawn Memorial Gardens in Paducah, Ky.
