Mary M. Miller, 83, of Millersburg, passed away Friday, February 29, 2008 in the Harrisburg Hospital.
She was born Saturday, March 1, 1924 in Lykens, PA, daughter of the late Allen A. Williams and Edith M. Van Houten Williams.
She retired from the former Johnson-Bailee Shoe Factory in Millersburg; was a member of Hebron United Methodist Church in Millersburg; and was involved in the Alzheimer's Association Support Group at the Manor at Susquehanna Village. Mary enjoyed spending time with her family and twin sister, Kate and traveling with her late husband, John in their camper.
She was the widow of John W. Miller and was also preceded in death by two brothers, Mark and Paul.
Surviving are a daughter, Darlene Schlegel and her husband, John of Harrisburg, her twin sister, Kathryn Seese of Millersburg; a brother, Robert Williams of Lebanon; a granddaughter, Vicki Peck and her husband, Daryl of Mt. Joy; and great-grandsons, Dustin and Cory Peck.
Services will be held at Hebron United Methodist Church, 347 Market Street, in Millersburg on Wednesday, March 5, 2008 at 11 a.m., with Pastor Rick Anderson officiating. Interment will follow in the Salem Lutheran Cemetery in Killinger. Viewing will be from 10-11 a.m., Wednesday, March 5 at the church.
