Alma Houser, 99, Towanda, died at 10:54 p.m. Monday (Feb. 25, 2008) at Heritage Manor, Normal.
Alma was born Nov. 10, 1908, in Merna, a daughter of John Christian Houser and Hulda Gerth Houser. She is survived by a niece, Mary (Alvin) Timler, Bloomington; a nephew, Robert (Linda) Scholl, Bonfield; a sister, Margaret Scholl, Fairbury; several great- and great-great- nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Lester; sisters, Edna Houser, Dora Shaffer and Clara Krause.
