Drucilla Cleveland, a daughter of the late Ezra and Dorinda (Hunsaker) Cleveland, was born in Burton, Ill., February 18, 1868. She moved with her parents to Bedford, Mo., when still a small child. She attended the Independence school near Bedford. On November 18, 1892, she was married to Seth W. Scott at Bedford and they made their home in that community for many years, where Mr. Scott engaged in farming. Mr. Scott preceded his wife in death January 19, 1948. Mrs. Scott was a member of the Bedford Methodist Church.
Mrs. Scott is survived by five children, George and Ira Scott, both of Chillicothe, Seth Scott of Kansas City, Mrs. Winnie Jamison of Meadville and Mrs. Faye Dewey of Utica; one brother, Arch Cleveland of Chillicothe; two sisters, Mrs. Lizzie Swihart of Independence and Mrs. Bertha Sheets of Hugo, Okla.; 15 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Her parents, husband, four brothers and two sisters preceded Mrs. Scott in death.
Funeral services will be held from the chapel of the Norman Funeral Home Saturday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock. The Rev. J. Frank Baker, pastor of the Elm Street Methodist Church, will conduct the memorial rites. Interment will be made in the family lot in the Wheeling Cemetery."
