Emory Virgil Hall

Johnson City - Emory Virgil Hall, 57, 802 Wilson Avenue, died at 9:15 p.m. Saturday from a heart attack.

He was a native of Big Stone Gap, Va., and had been residing in Johnson City for the past five months. He was a member of the Robinette Chapel Baptist Church.

Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Vernie Collier Hall; four sons. Eugene Hall, Anderson, Ind., Ronda Hall, U.S. Army Ft. Hancock, N.J., Graham Hall, Plant City, Fla., and Harold Hall, Air Force in Japan; one daughter, Mrs. Herbert Coffey, Jonesboro, Tenn.; his parents, Charles C. Hall, Bristol,Va., and Mrs. Buna Trusly, Big Stone Gap, Va.; three sisters, Mrs. Rex Caldwell, Kingsport, Mrs. Eldridge Price and Mrs. Bud Kleeman, both of Bristol; five grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Appalachian Funeral Chapel with Rev. Robert 0. Fife and Rev. P. L. Hart officiating.

Burial will be in Monte Vista Burial Park. The body will remain at the Chapel throughout services where the family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday.
