Mrs. Carrie Elvina Over, 94, of Reidsburg, died early Friday, April 22, 1977, in her home. Born Sept. 1, 1882, in Curllsville, she was a daughter of the late John and LouEmma Mohney Humphrey. She was married in 1903 to Harry A. Over, who died in 1959. Mrs. Over was the last surviving member of her family of 13 children. Six brothers and six sisters preceded her in death. She was a member of Monroe Chapel United Methodist Church and was a charter member of the United Methodist Women. Surviving are six daughters, Allene, Twila, and Cornelia Over and Mrs. Don (Marjorie) Curll of Reidsburg, Mrs. Ronald (Pauline) Muir of Sligo, and Mrs. Arnold(Gladene) Kline of New Bethlehem; 11 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. Twin daughters preceded her in death. Services were at 2 p.m. Sunday from the Cleo A. Hawk Funeral Home in Sligo with Rev. H. Dale Reitz officiating. Burial was in Churchville Cemetery.
