Died, Monday, July 5, at the family residence, 1001 South Sixteenth street, of typhoid fever, Mrs. Jennie Griffith, aged 34 years, 3 months, and 2 days. The deceased had been ill for the past six weeks. She was born in this state and had resided here all her life. She is survived by her husband and three children.
The funeral will take place at 3 o'clock this afternoon at the Central Baptist church, Rev. Euclid B Rogers will officiate. The interment will be made in Oak Ridge cemetery. Pub. in the Illinois State Journal 7-6-1897.
