Mrs. Todd died unexpectedly at her home Sunday of last week. She had been a resident of McAlester for the past 41 years and was a member of the Free Will Baptist Church. Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Lona Wilson, Cincinnati, Ohio, and Ms. Clara Truman, Connersville, Ind.; six sons, Frank Steele, Corbin, Ky., E. V. Steele, Florence, Ky., R. L. Todd, Dunnigan, Calif., E. F. Todd, 1106 South A., McAlester and Lewis D. Todd, Route 6, McAlester. Four Sisters, Mrs. Mary Loutish Mullins, Mrs. Lea Ponder, Mrs. Lucy Norris and Mrs. Ella Todd all of Richmond, Indiana; a brother, Charley E. May, Livingston, Ky., and several grandchildren. Services were held Wednesday of last week (Feb. 10, 1960) at the Arpelar Nazarene Church with the Rev. James Cook of Shawnee in charge. Bearers were her grandsons. Honorary bearers were Ashley Cook, Oliver Grant, Howard Lovett, Cecil Thompson, Frank Blevins and Oscar Norris.

Emma also had a son, John Roscoe Steele that married Nannie M. Wren Steele. They had a daughter, JoAnn Steele Hartman that passed away April 13, 1994.
