PAMPA - Mahota Maxine Hapeman, 88, died Friday, Feb. 22, 2008.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday in Calvary Baptist Church with the Rev. Walt Perry and the Rev. Richard Bartel officiating. Graveside services will be at 3 p.m. Monday in Fairlawn Cemetery in Elk City, Okla., by Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors.

Mrs. Hapeman was born Nov. 23, 1919, in Roger Mills County, Okla. She married George Wilbur Hapeman on Feb. 24, 1943, in Corpus Christi.

Survivors include two sons, Wilbur Hapeman of Pampa and Gene Hapeman of Jacksboro; a daughter: Mahota Stamper of Cheyenne, Okla.; seven grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.

The family suggests memorials be to Calvary Baptist Church, 900 E. 23rd St., Pampa, TX 79065.
