Britannia and her 2 eldest sons are recorded as hawkers, and the industry to which they were connected is 'gypsy life'. Brittania is born at Catislock, Dorset, Joe at Chiddley, Devon, Liberty at Langtree, Devon and Noah at Willington, Somerset.

The address is difficult to read, but it looks like 'B… Trans. In caravans' – suggesting they are in transit in caravans.
