ELDON D. ALLRED Date: December 12, 1993 Eldon Doyle Allred, 75, died December 11, 1993 in Provo, Utah. Born November 6, 1918 in Black Hawk (now Hiawatha), Utah to Fenton and Ruby Roberts Allred. Married Barbara Clyde November 21, 1941 in Heber City, Utah. Later solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. Former resident of Uinta Basin and Heber City. Loved fishing and hunting and the out-of-doors. He was noted for his expertise in sheep shearing. Owned and operated the U-Bar Dude Ranch in the Uinta Mountains and conducted pack trips into the High Uintas. Responsible for fish planting in many of the back country lakes. His grandchildren were the love of his life. Veteran of World War II. Survived by wife of Heber City; children: Steven Brent Allred, Bountiful; Annette Probst, Heber City; 10 grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, sisters: Lena McCarty and Dorine Reynolds, both of Vernal; many nieces and nephews that he had a fondness for. Preceded in death by a brother, Royal, and a granddaughter, Chelsea Probst. Funeral services Tuesday, 1 p.m. at Olpin Mortuary, Heber City, where friends may call Tuesday from 11:30 until services. Burial, Heber City Cemetery.
