DIED OF APOPLEXY
Wm J. Giddens, aged 54 years, died of apoplexy while doing some work in his blacksmith shop in Frazier about 5 o'clock Friday afternoon January 11, 1929.
Mr. Giddens or "Sandy" as he was more familiarly known to his friends and acquaintances, has been a very dependable blacksmith there for several years, people coming for many miles to secure his services.
He was one of the most respected citizens of the Frazier neighborhood and lived with his mother on a farm southwest of that village.
Besides his mother, Mrs. Kate Giddens of Frazier, he is survived by one sister, Mrs. John Russell of St. Joseph, two daughters Mrs. A. N. Ledger, Dallas, Texas, Miss Esther Lee Giddens and one son T. H. Giddens of Oklahoma City. All except the son were present at the funeral which was held at the Frazier Baptist Church at 2 o'clock Monday afternoon by Rev. Edson, pastor.
Interment was in the Frazier Cemetery.
