Beatrice M. Montgomery, 84, of Eaton, died Monday, Sept. 27, 2004. Born March 7, 1920, in Camden, she was the daughter of Mathew Jordan and Mary Susan Francisco Wright. She was a 1938 graduate of Monroe High School. Mrs. Montgomery was a member of the Eaton United Church of Christ, Club 18, Preble County Historical Society, and an honorary member of Omicron Sigma Sorority.

She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Conley Wright, Archie Wright, Orville Wright, Wilbur "Mike" Wright, Vern Wright, Jim Wright and Bob Wright; sisters, Juanita Beasley, Kathryn McCord, Mary Stover and Nora Berman.

Survivors include her husband, James H. Montgomery; three daughters, Sue (Ron) Stewart and Mary Jane Montgomery, both of Eaton, and Amy (Daryl) Medaris of New Paris; three grandsons, Ryan Stewart, John (Ann) Stewart and Jordan Wesler; three great-grandsons, Cody, Sam and Jack Stewart; nieces and nephews.

Funeral services were at 10:30 a.m. Friday, Oct. 1, with the Rev. Randall Brakemeyer officiating. Burial in Mound Hill Union Cemetery, Eaton.
