Altoona Mirror, Wednesday, 21 January 1914:
"George T. Morrow died at his home, Sixteenth avenue, between Second and Third street, Juniata, of pneumonia, at 10:33 last evening, after an illness of two weeks. He was born in Westmoreland county, Nov. 9, 1844. For forty-five years he was a railroad engineer, having not long ago retired from service with the Baltimore and Ohio railroad. He was united in marriage to Elizabeth Hockenberry. They would have celebrated the forty-fifth anniversary of the happy event on Friday. One daughter also survives, Mrs. Thomas Wagner of Salisbury, and one grandchild. Two sisters and two brothers are left: Mrs. Maggie Pringle of Portage, Miss Allie of Altoona and Clayton and Charles of Turtle Creek. Mr. Morrow was a member of Company D, Sixty-seventh regiment, Pennsylvania volunteers and later the Second brigade, Third division, Sixth A corps. Funeral services will be held at the home at 2 o'clock Saturday afternoon. Interment in Fairview cemetery.
