Mrs. Mary Ellen Overholser, widow of Stephen Overholser, died Tuesday morning at the home of her son, Willard Overholser, 33 N. Adler street, Dayton following several months illness. She was 70 years of age and a native of Eaton, where she had spent most of her life. She was a member of the Methodist church.
Her survivors are three sons, Willard of Dayton, Arnold of Camden and Ora of Bowie, Md; three sisters, Mrs. Sadie Personett, of New Castle, Ind., Mrs. Charles Newcomer of Urbana, Ill and Mrs. Ed VanDoren of Dayton; and six brothers, Elmer Shafer of Liberty, Ind. P.F. Shafer of Chicago, ???, Jacob and George Shafer of New Castle, Ind, and James Shafer of ???
The remains may be viewed at the Barnes funeral home, where funeral services will be held Friday afternoon at 2:00 o'clock and Rev. J.R. Fields of St. Paul Methodist church officiating. Interment will be made in Mound Hill cemetery.
