Mae Colvin, 86, of Loogootee, passed away at 5 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 30, 2008 at the Martin County Health Care and Rehab Center in Loogootee. She was born Nov. 1, 1922 in Martin County to Ross Dillion and Elizabethy Smith Dillon.
A homemaker she had worked at the former Loogootee Textile and was a member of St. Johnson's Catholic Church in Loogootee.
Survivors include: a son, Ron Colvin in Bloomington; a daughter, Carolyn Winkler of Huntingburg; and a sister, Bernease Bauer of Bedford.
She was preceded by her husband, Robert "Bob" Colvin, her parents; a grandson, Kevin Colvin; a sister, Louise Ira; and two brothers, Elmer and John Dillon,
A funeral mass will be conducted at 1 p.m. Monday at St. John's Catholic Church in Loogootee with burial to follow in the church cemetery.
