James Wayne Brandt, 50 of Victoria passed away, February 5, 2008. He was born February 1, 1958, in Kingsville, Texas to Cecil and Gwen Ruth Cochran Brandt. Mr. Brandt was retired from the oilfield.
He is survived by his wife, Marcella Brandt, of Victoria, Texas; daughters, Crystal Heddlesten (Les) of Cimarron, Kansas, Saundra Miller (Brian) of Denver, Texas and Vanessa Trautwein (Dustin) of Victoria, Texas; sons, Clint Brandt of Victoria, Texas James Ryan Brandt of Kingsville, Texas and James Calliham (Sarah) of Denver, Texas; sisters, Jan Brandt of Agua Dulce, Texas Darlett Valdez (Roel) of Alice, Texas and Cheryl Calvez (Tommy) of Agua Dulce, Texas; brothers, William Brandt (Julie) of Agua Dulce, Texas and Roy Brandt (Sharie) of Boerne, Texas; his parents Cecil and Gwen Ruth Brandt of Agua Dulce, Texas; two grandchildren, Andy White, Reagan Calliham and one grandchild on the way. He was preceded in death by his brothers, Wade, Rusty and Darrell Brandt.
Visitation and a funeral service were held Feb. 8 & 9 at Rosewood Funeral Chapel. Burial followed at Mission Valley Cemetery.
Pallbearers: Brian Miller, James Calliham, Les Heddlesten, Dustin Trautwein, Mike Hovey and Dean Ohrt.
Honorary pallbearers: Andy White and Preston Salziger.
