Son of James William Thomas Herrington, believed to be buried in this cemetery as well in an unmarked grave along with his second wife, Margaret Adaline Wiggins.

Joe died from pneumonia while at Camp Beauregard during World War I. According to Volume 1 of the Bienville Parish history book, he was the first man from Bienville Parish to die in WWI.
