His widow, Elizabeth Ridley Denning, received a Widow's pension. She was a resident of Onondaga, New York. She died in 1884.
Two children, from a previous marriage, received Minor's pensions. In the pension application in July 1864, the children's ages are given, but not their birth dates. Mary, age 15, and J----z(?), age 13.
