Wounded at Ellison's Mill, Virginia, 26 Jun 1862; Chancellorsville, Virginia 2 May 1863. Wounded in right eye, resulting in loss of sight at Wilderness, Virginia on 5 May 1864. The Muster Roll dated August 31, 1864, last on file, shows him on sick furlough. No later record. Laura Hull (Jordan) Beckham was still alive in 1932 as one of the living Confederate Widows in Pike Co, GA.
