They had seven children: Jan (Debbie) Updike, Hampton, TN; Mary (John) Peya, Shawnee, OK; Peggy (Virgil) Poff, Richmond, MN; Judy (Chuck) Pegley, Birch Run, MI; Bob Updike (Debbie Becker), Avon, MN; Sue Bryant (Joe Keyser), Edgemont, SD; and Gary Updike, Richmond, MN; 17 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren.
