T M (Johnson) Sansing of Cooper passed away Wednesday, March 24th at his home.
Funeral services were held at 2:00 PM Sunday, March 28th at the Delta Funeral Chapel with Rev Richard Tatum officiating. Interment was in the Oaklawn Cemetery with grandsons serving as pallbearers.
Mr Sansing was born in Delta County, May 26, 1897. He was a son of Simeon Perry and Maggie (Noland) Sansing, He was a farmer and a veteran of World War I.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Edith (Richardson) Sansing, December 13, 1984.
Survivors include three sons: Coy Sansing of Cooper, Eugene Sansing of Temple and Thad Wayne Sansing of Coleman; two daughters, Maggie Harris of Yantis and Helen Fisher of Dallas; nine sisters, Maybell Malone, Clyde Richardson and Mildred Smead all of Cooper, Pearl Ellington of Plano, Dollie Bogan and Leola Bogan both of Dallas, Virginia Woodall of New Mexico, Viola Craven of Canton and Amy Mosley of Gree ly, Colorado; eight grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Lawrence Sansing an d two sisters, Rowena Todd and Perry Lee Taylor.
