In the year of Christ 1797. on the 8th of October, Frederick Harter, Esq., as Elder, was elected and installed, and served to June 8, 1808.
On the 26th of April, 1812, Frederick Harter, Esq., (the first Elder of St. Michael's Church was buried here, aged fifty-five years.
