Hood River, Or. Dec 12—Funeral services for John E. Colvin, a native Oregonian, were held Wednesday at the Anderson chapel. The Christian Science service was read by Mrs. C. O. Hueiat. Mr. Colvin, who is survived by his widow and five children, was 30 years old. His death occurred Sunday following an attack of heart disease.
Mr. Colvin's parents, Mr. and Mrs. H. L. Colvin, who came to Oregon from Iowa more than 40 years ago, also survive. Portland Oregonian, December 13, 1919.
