Chelan – Nov. 7 – Funeral services for Herbert Keith O'Neal, 31, who was killed in a mine accident in Wallace, Idaho were to be held Wednesday at 2 pm in Chelan. The Rev. Kenneth Gregg will officiate. Burial will be in the Riverview cemetery.

Born in Chelan on September 8, 1920, Mr. O'Neal served three years in the Pacific area during World War II. He was married to Wilma Heerman on June 23, 1946, in Chelan.

Surviving are his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Buril O'Neal; one brother, Donald O'Neal, US Army, stationed at Georgia; one sister, Jeannine O'Neal of Chelan, two sons, Steven 3,and Michael, three months, and two daughters, Pamila, 15 months and Donna Jean, 10 years.
