James Garfield Danilson, a long-time resident Manson orchardist, died in a Wenatchee hospital.
Born December 20, 1884 in Blackfoot, Idaho, he spent his early life in Ontario, Oregon. He later moved to Spokane and Pullman.
In 1916 he purchased land at Manson. He married Evelina Moser February 26, 1919 and the following year moved to Manson with their infant daughter.
Surviving is his wife, Evelina, at home; two sons, John of Dallas, Texas and Robert M. of Great Falls, Montana; three daughters, Mrs. Phyllis Bunker, Wenatchee; Mrs. Martha Allaway, Seattle; and Mrs. Lois Hallock, Chelan; one brother, Theodore of Chewelah; 12 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. One son, William preceded him in death in 1952.
Services were held Wednesday.
