A son of James and Susanna (Seamans) Round. James married Urania Cole, a daughter of Joseph and Freelove (Mason) Cole on February 27, 1762 at Scituate, Rhode Island.

James Rounds moved from Scituate, Rhode Island to Clarendon, Vermont between 1771 & 1772. He was a Sergeant in the Revolutionary War from Vermont, a scout according to the D.A.R. index.

HIS DESCENDANCY

James Round descends from immigrant John Round who came to Colonial America prior to 1689:(James, James, George, John).
