Donnie passed away at a hospital in Hiawatha. He was the son of Henry and Regina (Deters) Sperfslage. He married Mary Ann Suther on November 5, 1953, at Annuciation Catholic Church in Frankfort. He is survived by his wife, his children, Joe Sperfslage, Bill Sperfslage, Frank Sperfslage, Steve Sperfslage, Gene Sperfslage, Ben Sperfslage, Louise Tanking, Marie Olberding, Betty Olberding, Linda Cox, Karen Macke, and Susan Dressman, 45 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren, and his sister, Helen Gyhra. Mass of Christian burial was held at Saints Peter & Paul Catholic Church. Burial was in the church cemetery.
