Margaret Gibson McClure, eldest daughter of the late Chief Justice John Bannister Gibson, died yesterday morning at Carlisle in her eightieth year. Funeral services will be conducted from At John's Episcopal church Sunday, December 17, at 2:30 o'clock PM. Interment at the old graveyard. The deceased lady was born in Wilkesbarre, but resided there only a short time, when she came to Carlisle. She married Hon. Charles McClure, a prominent member of the Cumberland County bar and a member of Congress from this district. About forty years ago with her husband she removed to Pittsburg, where he died. She then returned to Carlisle and since has resided here, with the exception of several years, when she lived with her son William, in New York.
