Marion Arthur Page, age 81, of 53 Town and Country, passed away Wednesday October 10, 1984 at 7:17 p.m. in Twin Pines Adult Care Center where he had been for only five days.
The son of Joseph Riley and Pearlie Mae (Bozarth) Page, he was born on January 12, 1903 in Novinger, Missouri. He was united in marriage to Lucinda Neer. On July 11, 1946 in Macon, Missouri he married Edith Juanita Mathes who survives. Also surviving are two sons, Larry Page of Kirksville and Marion Page, Jr. of Loomis, California; one daughter, Alice Tripp of Edina; two step-sons, Ray Peek of Memphis and John Peek of Ft. Lauderdale, Florida; one step-daughter, Willa June Bowen of Kirksville; one brother, Harlie Page of Kirksville; two sisters, Ethel Speaks and Nellie Stamper both of Kirksville; six grandchildren, 10 step-grandchildren and two step-great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; one son; five brothers and two sisters.
Mr. Page attended country schools in this area. He spent most of his life in Kirksville where he was a heavy equipment operator.
During World War II Mr. Page served in the United States Navy.
He was a member of the Kirksville Masonic Lodge No. 366, A.F. & A.M.
Masonic services will be held Friday October 12, 1984 at 7 p.m. conducted by the Kirksville Lodge No. 366 A.F. & A.M.
Funeral services will be held Sunday October 14, 1984 at 2 p.m. in the chapel of the Foster-Fohn Memorial Home. The Rev. Bob Fredricks of the First Assembly of God Church will officiate. Mrs. Dianthe Cable will be the organist and selections will be: "Ivory Palaces", "Amazing Grace" and "How Great Thou Art". Burial will be in the Park View Memorial Gardens.
Bearers will be Randy Kennedy, Danny Miller, Johnny Peek, Marc Bowen, Doug Jones and Gary Speaks.
