Autra Evelyn Clark Barnes, 92, died Saturday, January 12, 2008, at Traceway Retirement Community in Tupelo, Miss.

She was Born March 31, 1915, in Prentiss County to the late William and Sally Wroten Clark.
She grew up in Marietta.

She was an Employee of Prentiss Mfg Company in Booneville. She was a life time Member of the Methodist Church.

Services will be held on Wednesday, January 16, 2008, at McMillan Funeral Home Chapel in Booneville. Rev. C. D. Edge and Rev Bobby Hankins will Officiate.
Burial will follow at Sumners Chapel Cemetery in Marietta.

Survivors include a Daughter In Law, Betty Carolyn Horn Barnes of Tupelo; 2 Grandsons, Gary David Barnes and Wife, Barbara, of Washington, MO; and Ronald Craig Barnes and Wife, Maxine, of Owensville, MO; 2 Great Grand Daughters, Tracey and Richard Green of Owensville, MO; and Becky and Christ Baumstrack of Herman, MO; Great Great Grandchildren, Nathan, Nicholaus and Austin of Owensville; and Ian and Hattie of Herman, MO; 3 Nieces, Betty Adams, Marie Alexander and Joyce Walthers; and 6 Nephews, Jerry Gann, Harmon Clark, Hoyt Clark, Joe Clark, Robert Clark and Wade Clark, all of Prentiss County.

She was preceded in death by her Husband, Rev. Julius Kirk "J.K." Barnes on October 11, 1976; and a Son, Dallis Dean Barnes, on December 22, 1993.

Pallbearers will be Boyd Fugitt, Danny Gardner, Charles George, Bob Kelly and J. C. Rogers.
