Sue was born in Senatobia, Mississippi, and she lived in Mississippi and Tennessee for the entirety of her life. She was a lifelong homemaker, who enjoyed taking care of her husband and children. Her passion was cooking, and every holiday and special occasion was filled with food and family. Many of her recipes were passed down from her mother. She also enjoyed working outside, and she was proud of the many flowers in her yard. She was a member of the Oxford Church of Christ.
Mrs. Massey is survived by her son, David Martin Massey and his wife, Terri Massey; her granddaughter, Cynthia Ashleigh Brown; and her grandson, Jonathan Chad Brown and his wife, Bryna Brown. She has seven great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James Benjamin (Ben) Massey, Jr.; her daughter, Patricia Ann Brown; her son, James Robert Massey; her parents, James Nathaniel Hunt and Rachel Blevins Hunt; and her five brothers, Harold Lee Hunt, James Hunt, Allen Hunt, William Hunt, and Robert Earl Hunt.
