  LYMAN, Wayne County — Floyd Pratt Taylor, 78, died at his home Oct. 18, 1977, causes incident to age.
  Born in Fremont, Wayne County, May 25, 1899, to Joseph E. and Annie Brian Taylor. Married Ethel A. Sorensen, Aug. 28, 1923, in Loa. Farmer, member, LDS Church. Served on board of Fremont Irrigation Co. for many years and as watermaster of Highline Canal for many years. Also, committeeman, ASC; committeeman, Lyman Cemetery.
  Survivors, wife, Lyman; two daughters, three sons: Mrs. William (Gail) Shannon, Chicago; Mrs. Max A. (Erma) Gardner, Payson; Clip J. Taylor, Mapleton; Lyle E. Taylor, Murray; Oscar K. Taylor, Lyman; and also Alfonzo Turner, who lived with him for many years; four children preceded him in death; 30 grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren; one brother, one sister, Ephraim Taylor, Loa; Mrs. Della Chaffin, Teasdale, Wayne County.
  Funeral services, Friday, 1 p.m., Lyman LDS Ward Chapel. Friends may call Thursday evening at the family home and Friday prior to services. Burial, Lyman Cemetery. Under the direction of Springer Mortuary.
