Son of Nellie & Edward Mobsby. Husband of Erica Joyce (nee Tassie) Mobsby. Edward enlisted in the Royal Australian Air Force on 6 January 1941. He was attached to the 90th Bombardment Squadron. He was killed in a flying battle, aged 31 years.
His family were presented with his Silver Star on 14 March 2014.
