She was born July 19, 1922, in Brownville, Neb., the daughter of Harry and Mabel Peabody Russell. She married Everett "Bus" Albers in 1964; he died in 1994.
Survivors include two sons, Wesley Faris of Ottawa and Gene Yoachum of Bremerton, Wash.; one daughter, Betty C. Mauck of Atwood; one sister, Mary Armstrong of Lenox, Iowa; nine grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren.
She also was preceded in death by three sisters and two brothers.
Mrs. Albers worked at Progress Industries, Inc. in Arthur as an executive secretary. She was a member of the Arthur United Methodist Church, the Alpha Ruth Circle, and the Ladies American Legion Auxiliary. She was a volunteer at the Arthur Home.
