Reddick - Elnora Mosley Thomas, age 89, died December 24, 2007 after an extended illness.
Born in Anthony, Florida on January 3, 1918, she was a lifetime resident of Marion County, Florida where she received her early childhood education.
Married to the late John Thomas, Mrs. Thomas was the mother of 12 children.
She was a member of Dubose United Methodist Church where she served as a member of the Mother Board.
Survivors include five sons: Johnnie Thomas, Benjamin Thomas, Alfred Thomas, all of Reddick, Florida, Jimmie Thomas, Sr., Ocala, Florida, and Willie Thomas of Orland?, Florida; five daughters: Ernestine McIntosh, Reddick, Minnie Thomas Austell, Trenton, New Jersey, Adell Thompson-Patterson, Ocala, Florida, Vivian Mitchell and Patricia Thomas-Sherrill, all of Ocala; one sister, Irene Lewis, Anthony, Florida; 55 grandchildren; 95 great-grandchildren; 25 great, great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be Friday, 9-7 at the Cunningham Chapel of Faith and one hour prior to the services.
The wake will be held Friday 7-8 PM - also at the chapel.
Services will be held Sautrday, January 5, 2008 at 11:00 AM
at the United Baptist Church in Reddick, Florida with the Rev. Gregory Pelham, Pastor and the Rev. Earl Powell officiating.
Interment will be in Lincoln Memorial Gardens.
Arrangements are by CUNNINGHAMS FUNERAL HOME - "YOUR FRIENDS WHO CARE"
